Good dark red. Enticing high-pitched perfume of red berries, flowers and minerals. Juicy, spicy and sharply delineated, delivering a lovely combination of energy and ripeness to its purple fruit and mineral flavors. A distinctly vibrant wine with terrific flavor intensity if a bit less power than the Combottes. But I prefer this more mineral style of Chambolle.

Chambolle-Musigny Vineyard Fine Wine

Chambolle-Musigny

Chambolle-Musigny, a prestigious appellation in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, is renowned for its elegant, aromatic Pinot Noir wines. Known for their finesse and complex aromas of red berries, violets, and earth, these wines are often described as the most "feminine" of Burgundy. The appellation's two Grand Cru vineyards, Bonnes Mares and Musigny, produce highly sought-after wines with depth and ageing potential. Notable producers include Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé, Domaine Georges Roumier, and Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier, all celebrated for their refined winemaking.
